BSAC and WHO launch new antimicrobial stewardship program for Egyptian healthcare professionals

This course, which marks the first such collaboration between BSAC and WHO, aims to support healthcare providers in Egypt by introducing the key components of setting up an AMS programme – including the goals and core elements of AMS, how to build an effective team, and how to appropriately evaluate the success of the programme. The course looks at the importance of AMS on a local, regional, and global scale, in addition to covering the key concepts of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and AMS.
